Serious About Play 2 (June)
SUN JUN 14, 9 AM - 12 PM EDT (SUN JUN 14, 9 AM - 12 PM EDT)

How are your New Year's Resolutions going? Did you make any commitments to yourself that you have started to question, or maybe you thought you wanted to go one direction and realized it's time to pivot?

On one hand, a year can seem to fly by in the blink of an eye. On the other, so much can happen - SO MUCH can change in one year's time.

What if we faced life one season at a time, just like nature does? And we meet each new season with the version of ourselves we've become from the experiences, growth, insights, and changes we endured the season before?

And, how is your body meeting this new season - how is it informing you about what's next for you?

Is it time for more, time for less,

time to speed up, time to slow down,

time to reach out, time to go within,

time to learn, time to teach,

time to express, time to create,

time to get serious, time to lighten up,

time to buckle down, time to play?

These are some of the ideas we'll be exploring in Serious About Play: Embodied Intention for the Season Ahead - a gentle orientation toward what wants to grow.

Using fun, exploratory embodiment practices grounded in breath, balance, fluidity, and sensory awareness, we’ll investigate how intention emerges naturally when the nervous system feels supported and the body is listened to.

Many of us have learned to associate seriousness with safety and play with irresponsibility. In reality, rigidity—not playfulness—is what limits adaptation and clarity.

This won’t be performative or frivolous. Play here is intelligent, purposeful, and embodied.

Here, we will be serious about play. ;-)
